CASTE AND RACE

IS CASTE THE SAME AS RACE ?  
IS CASTE A SUBSET OF RACE ?? or is it vice versa ???  
DOES BIOLOGY DETERMINE CASTE OR RACE ? 

All these issues came to the fore at the time of the World Conference Against Racisim Conference held at Durban between 31st Aug - 07 Sept 2001.
